Yes I liked this too - the contrast between the black and white is so good.
But I took it quicky - and should have thought about the depth of field and whether I wanted to try to get it all in focus. It is a technical point - but also a creative decision that one can't alays decide until afterwards!
But in the end - I was just taking a stroll and playing with my new camera!
A friend of mine once used a program to change a photo I took to something that looked more "arty". I'd love to see what would happen with than on this photo of yours?
If you have such a program, perhaps you might try that and see what happens with all the gray and black and white and linear-ness.
Sometimes though, pics are much better taken on the fly rather than fiddling with the depth of field and focus and all those techie things, right?
